Visa Application Assistance
Visa application
documents,
appointments and
processing
Once you accept our job offer, we‘ll start the visa
application process. We will use the fast-track
procedure, which typically takes around 4–8 weeks.
The fast-track process
Once we have all necessary documents for your visa application, we will use the fast-track procedure to expedite the process. We’ll need your written authorization, which we will send you a request for before preparing your visa documents. The fast-track procedure usually shortens processing by several weeks but doesn‘t guarantee faster handling in every case.
Applying for the
residence permit
After your arrival in Germany and registration at the Bürgeramt (Citizen’s office), we will support you in applying for your residence permit, which differs from your entry visa. Details on necessary documents will be provided in our next communication.
Residence permit validity
Your residence permit will be valid for the same length as your employment contract. For example, if your contract is for one year, your residence permit will also be valid for one year.
Registering at the

Renting
accommodation
after arrival
You‘ll need a rental agreement for the visa application process, so it‘s important to secure one before applying. Opting for short-stay accommodation is a practical choice. We can support you by arranging property viewings, providing videos or photos, and even facilitating virtual tours via video calls.
Based on your experience, you can decide whether to proceed with renting the property, and we will handle the necessary paperwork.
Renting

after arrival
Once you have settled into a short-stay apartment, you can transition to a long-stay rental. Given your presence in Germany and fulfillment of documentation requirements, this transition should proceed smoothly.

All residents in Germany are legally obligated to have health insurance. We have a small selection of recommended insurances that we’ll discuss with you, and we’ll support you in the acquirement and registration of your chosen insurance.
